This file allows the server administrator to customize each game mode for their own server. Even though you shouldn't edit this file, it's still useful to use this file to determine how exactly to make a particular convar change. Overview Steam's peer-to-peer matchmaking is built around the concept of a lobby. Priority determines how quickly the player is matched with other players. Players in low priority will not gain battle points from the match, will find games more slowly, and will only be put with other players in low priority. The results are returned ordered by geographical distance and based on any near filters set.
